1. Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar

Before we begin reading this play, do a web quest searching for information on Shakespeare and/or Julius Ceasar (the play or the man).

    2.Shakespeare had seven siblings
    3.Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway when he was 17
    4.Shakespeare and Anne Hathawy had three children together a son Hamnet who died in 1596 and two daughters, Susanna and Judith.
    5.Shakespeare was buried in the Holy Trinity Church Stratford-upon-Avon.

    .Julius Caesar full name is Gaius Julius Caesar, he was born July 100 BC.
    .Julius died on March 15 44BC, Caesar became th first Roman general to cross both when he built a bridge across the Rhine and conducted the first invasion of Britain.
    .Gaius Julius Caesar was the dictator of the Roman Republic.
    .Julius was assassinated by a group of senators led by Marcus Junius Brutus.
    .A new series of civil wars broke out, and the constitutional government of the republic was never restored Caesar's adopted heir, later know as Augustus, rose to solo power, and the era of the Roman Empire began.

    -He was an important member of the Lord Chamberlain’s Men Company of theatrical players.
    -He wrote plays that capture the complete range of human emotion and conflict.
    -His daughter Susanna was born on May 26, 1583. Two years later, on February 2, 1585, twins Hamnet and Judith were born.
    - By 1597, William Shakespeare had published 15 of the 37 plays attributed to him.
    - He purchased the second largest house in Stratford, called New House.
