Only Third Block students comment on this post! 

To review for your quiz on Friday, use your notes to answer the following for your favorite book, movie, or one episode of your favorite TV show. Be sure your choice has all of these components:

    Protagonist- Parker Leggette
    Antagonist- The pitcher for pinecrest in the last game
    Conflict- Internal
    Epiphany- When Parker strikes out for the first time
    Exposition- Parker is new to a school and is known for baseball
    Narrative hook- Parker goes into a little slump
    Rising Action- The Cavs are undifreated
    Climax- Parker gets scouts looking at him
    Falling Action- The Cavs almost lose to Pinecrest
    Resolution- Parker goes to play pro right out of high school for the Atlanta Braves

    Protagonist- Michaela
    Antagonist - making new friends
    Conflict - internal
    epiphany- Michaela realizes she has to move
    exposition - Michaela has to tell her friends she is moving
    Narrative Hook- she tells about how she feels about it
    Rising action- she has to move this summer. which is 2 months
    climax- her friends are upset and so she is .
    Falling action- she is packing her stuff up .
    Resolution - she tells her friends to come visit for the summertime.

  3. The Hunger Games

    Protagonist- Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark
    Antagonist- The Capitol
    Conflict- External: Man vs. Man (All the Players fight against each other in the Hunger Games), Man vs. Nature(The Players of the Game try to survive in the Arena)
    Internal: Man vs. Self (Peeta tries to be himself all the time.), Man vs. Society (Katniss tries to defeat the traditions of only one Victor)
    Epiphany: Katniss realizes she needs to be nice to Peeta
    Exposition- The Annual Hunger Games are introduced.
    Narrative Hook- Tributes are picked and Katniss volunteers.
    Rising Action- The tributes train and The Hunger Games Start!
    Climax- The dog jumps out! Does Katniss have to kill Peeta or does she have to die?!?!?
    Falling Action- Katniss nor Peeta die.
    Resolution- They are both Victors and go back to their home district to receive rewards.

  4. Revenge
    Protagonist-Emily Thorn
    Antagonist-The Grayson's
    Conflict-Man vs. society (she fights to figure out how to avenge her fathers death.)
    Internal- Man vs. Self- fights herself to stay focus on her task.
    Epiphany-She realizes things that happened when she was alittle.
    Exposition-She comes back to her hometown.
    Narritive Hook-Emily getting her revenge on the people who killed her father.
    Rising Action-The way Emily gets her revenge
    Climax-She gets closer and closer in getting her revenge.
    Falling Action:People finding out the truth.
    Resolution-there is no ending she still hasnt found her revenge on them all.

  5. Oz The Great and Powerful
    protagonist- Oscar
    antagonist- witches
    conflict- man vs. society(oz fights with the 2 witches and the witches army)
    epiphany- they realize that Oscar is not the real wizard
    exposition- Oscar was switched to a different living area
    narrative hook- Oscar meets witches and treated as a king
    rising action- finds out the witches are the fake ones
